This safari takes you to lots of different places in order to make the most of your game viewing. You travel from Laikipia to Lakes Nakuru and Naivasha before heading to the Masai Mara where you stay in two different areas. You will spot the famous Big Five as well as many other types of wildlife. You also have a good chance of seeing the annual migration with millions of animals all on the move if you travel between July and October. You will visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi to meet the elephants and learn about their vital conservation work. When staying in Ol Pejeta Conservancy you will get a chance to see the rare black rhino and a chimpanzee colony.
During this journey you have the opportunity to visit the pioneering Sheldrick Trust elephant orphanage in Nairobi where dozens of baby elephants have been rescued and rehabilitated. The Real Africa Trust has fostered several of these and continues to support the charity. We have just donated nearly $23,000 to the Sheldrick Trust - enough to fund more than 11 elephant rescues or to care for 2 orphans for a whole year. We also work with a number of other conservation charities active in Kenya including Save the Elephants and Save the Rhino. You can find out more on our conservation pages.Plan My Journey Speak To Us
