Classic Zimbabwe

This is a wonderful holiday for those looking to explore Zimbabwe as it covers Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and Lake Kariba in Matusadona National Park. You stay in a variety of fabulous, handpicked accommodation throughout. The wildlife of Zimbabwe is wonderful with black rhino, elephants, wild dogs and lion populations all doing well.

The Real Africa Trust works with leading conservation organisations to raise awareness as well as raising funds for specific projects. Partners include Save the Elephants, Save the Rhino, The Sheldrick Trust, Rhino Conservation Botswana and Animals saving Animals. You can find out more on our Conservation pages. On behalf of every client travelling, Real Africa makes a donation to the Trust. Matusadona NP is an Intensive Protection Zone for the endangered black rhino which you will be able to see during your stay. Hwange is one of Africa's only great parks without a permanent water source such as a river or lake. As a result many water dependent species rely heavily on artificial waterholes. 15 of these are maintained by Imvelo Safari Lodges who operate Bomani Camp and guests are invited to join a 'pump run' - a fascinating hands-on insight into Hwange’s water supply situation.
