Breakfast with the giraffes of famous Giraffe Manor and take time to visit the Sheldrick Trust elephant orphanage in Nairobi National Park before flying to the Mara for a safari from Governors Camp, a world famous camp where the BBC filmed many documentaries including the Big Cat Diaries. Game viewing in this part of the Mara is fantastic year-round, especially for seeing the Marsh pride of lion. The camp is also incredibly well positioned for seeing river crossings as the wildebeest migrate in August/September/October time.
Extend your holiday with a few days on the beach after your safari - ask us for details.
You have the opportunity to visit the pioneering Sheldrick Trust elephant orphanage in Nairobi where dozens of baby elephants have been rescued and rehabilitated. The Real Africa Trust has fostered several of these and continues to support the charity. We also work with a number of other conservation charities active in Kenya including Save the Elephants and Save the Rhino. You will of course also be able to interact with the Rothschild Giraffes at Giraffe Manor. Rothschild Giraffes are the most endangered of the giraffe species with very few left in the wild. During your stay you can find out more about them and what is being done to conserve them.Plan My Journey Speak To Us
