Kenya Small Group Escorted Tour

This is a small group (maximum of 7, minimum of 2) escorted safari tour staying in hand-picked camps/lodges. It departs every Sunday (subject to there being a minimum 2 passengers). You will also get the chance to see the orphaned elephants at the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and feed the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. You stay at Lake Elementeita, a Rift Valley soda lake teeming with wildlife including flamingos and rhino and safari in the world-famous Masai Mara.



You have the chance to visit the Sheldrick Trust in Nairobi, which is one of the charities supported by the Real Africa Trust. The Real Africa Trust works with leading conservation organisations to raise awareness as well as raising funds for specific projects. Partners include Save the Elephants, Save the Rhino, The Sheldrick Trust, Rhino Conservation Botswana and Animals saving Animals. You can find out more on our Conservation pages. Safari Itinerary

DAY 1

Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2 - 3

Lake Elmentaita and Lake Nakuru
After breakfast you will be taken to the Giraffe Centre to feed the giraffes. You then head over to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to meet the elephants up close. After a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum you will then have lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens before heading off to Lake Elementaita. The next day you will have the chance to explore the lake and Lake Nakuru which are home to lots of exciting wildlife including huge groups of flamingos and rare rhinos.

DAY 4 - 6

Masai Mara
After breakfast you will head to the world famous Masai Mara where you arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon dip in the pool. In the late afternoon you will head out on your game drive into the Masai Mara where your chances of spotting the Big Five are very high. You spend another two full days here in one of the best places in the world to watch wildlife.

  • From £1,185 to £1,635 per person (based on two people sharing)
  • Low season is 1 April - 30 June 2018 (excluding Easter) and High season is 16 - 31 Dec 2018. This tour departs every Sunday.
