This is a fantastic week long fly-drive safari combining two of Tanzania's most famous wildlife areas, but where possible, skirting the crowds. Stay in a small tented camp in acacia woodland on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, travelling in your own 4x4 vehicle with driver/guide, before flying to the Serengeti for nights at a beautiful safari lodge in the remote far north - both camps are all-inclusive ensuring a fantastic experience.
You will have an excellent chance of seeing the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti as well as the ‘Big 5’. We love this safari because it combines the best of both worlds - you drive the first part to the Ngorongoro, and then take to the sky in a light aircraft for your onward journey to the Serengeti.
This safari is ideal between June and November. For travel January - March the wildebeest are gathered on the southern plains of the Serengeti to calve - please see Lemala: Crater & Plains (SOUTH) safari itinerary.
