Out of Africa

This is a lovely safari staying at classic tented safari camps in some stunning locations. You start in the world famous Masai Mara - home to the annual migration in the months of July - November. You then move on to scenic Amboseli with its famous herds of elephants and the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro before continuing to Tsavo West and Tsavo East.

You have the opportunity to visit the pioneering Sheldrick Trust elephant orphanage in Nairobi where dozens of baby elephants have been rescued and rehabilitated. The Real Africa Trust has fostered several of these and continues to support the charity. We also work with a number of other conservation charities active in Kenya including Save the Elephants and Save the Rhino. All the camps in this safari are part of the Out of Africa Collection, luxury eco lodges. Satao Elerai for example, is part of African Wildlife Foundation’s Kilimanjaro Heartland. Community members are trustees of the Satao Elerai Community and Wildlife Trust and thereby ensure that all funds are utilised solely for the benefit of community and wildlife in the area.
