In 2011 Real Africa became a member of ABTOT, the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers
Trust Limited, which allows us to sell holidays that do not include any flights and comply with Government regulations on financial security of the travelling public. (Our holidays which include any flights, whether International or simply one domestic sector are covered by our ATOL licence).
In an era of air miles, airline special offers and loyalty schemes, several of our clients wish to book their own International flights. We also have clients who live outside the UK and want to travel to the start of their holiday from different countries. Our ABTOT bonding allows us to offer them the same level of service for their land arrangements while also offering the financial peace of mind of knowing that their money is fully protected.
Many of our ABTOT clients fly-in and are met direct at the airport by our guides. Others like to get there a day or two early to acclimatize. We can offer excellent accommodation options with our partners, such as Serena in Kenya, to stay at before your safari holiday. Others, especially those on daylight flights from London, like to stay at accommodation in London before their flight to ensure they are there in time and not too exhausted from a night of travelling.
