Nyamatusi Camp is the latest addition to the conservation focused African Bush Camps portfolio opening in April 2019. This beautiful camp is an exciting addition to the wild landscape of Mana Pools. Each of the six tented suites enjoys sweeping river views, private deck and plunge pool.
The camp is located in the far eastern zone of Mana Pools with an abundance of bird and animal life. With the river on its doorstep guests are invited to enjoy a range of activities from canoeing, tracking and bush walks to safaris in open 4x4 vehicles.
An airy central mess tent with comfortable lounge area is an ideal place to catch the river breeze and watch the wildlife come and go from the escarpment. The bar and dining area also benefit from fantastic views over the Zambezi.
Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other wildlife species. Most exciting of all is the chance to see the rare African Wild Dog.
African Bush Camps run their own charitable Foundation which helps to empower local communities to become self-sustaining and independent, whilst also promoting conservation and community spirit.
Activities include walking safaris, led by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you and game drives. Bird watching and canoeing are also available at this camp.
