Then, head off on a thrilling safari in the Lalibela Game Reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape. This private game reserve covers 5 different types of habitat and spreads over a massive 22,000 acres of land. It offers a huge amount of wildlife being a protected private reserve and is home to lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo & leopard - as well as other predators like cheetah, hyena, jackal and lynx.

Safari Itinerary

DAY 1-4

Cape Town
On your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. There is so much to do and see in this beautiful part of the country and the world-famous winelands are a short drive away. The Cape of Good Hope and its National Reserve are an enjoyable day trip, maybe stopping off at Boulders Bay on the return to see the colony of Penguins. You can visit Hermanus which, during the right season, offers some of the best whale-watching in the Cape Provinces. There are Botanical gardens, golden beaches (with a cold sea!), small coastal towns and villages, beautiful scenery and for the fit the chance to get to the top of Table Mountain by foot. One of Cape Town's latest attractions is the The Centenary Tree Canopy Walkway, or Boomslang, at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, another must-visit destination in the Cape.

DAY 5-7

Lalibela Game Reserve, Eastern Cape
Today you depart for Lalibela Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. On arrival, check-in before departing on your afternoon game drive. Lalibela Game Reserve is not only malaria free, but spans 5 ecosystems, resulting in a breath-taking diversity of flora and fauna. Game drives take place in order to coincide with when the wildlife is most active – early morning and late evening. The Lalibela Reserve is a conservation project that currently consists of 10,500 hectares (approximately 26,000 acres) and is home to lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo & leopard as well as other predators like cheetah, hyena, jackal & lynx.

DAY 8

Depart
Your early morning game drive is followed by breakfast, after which you will be transferred to the airport in time for your onward flight.
