Chobe, Victoria Falls and Hwange In Style

Visiting three iconic destinations in Africa; Hwange and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Chobe in Botswana, this 10 days trip stays in small exclusive camps and allows guests the opportunity to enjoy superb wildlife viewing as well as the chance to learn a more about conservation efforts locally. Accommodation has been hand-picked by our team and offers the guests the most wonderful experience - this trip will be one that stays with you for a long time after you return home.

The Real World Conservation Trust (formerly Real Africa Trust) works with leading conservation organisations to raise awareness as well as raising funds for specific projects. Partners include Save the Elephants, Save the Rhino, The Sheldrick Trust, Rhino Conservation Botswana and Animals saving Animals. You can find out more on our Conservation pages. On behalf of every client travelling, Real Africa makes a donation to the Trust. Our aim is to raise awareness about the plight of endangered species and to promote sustainable, socially responsible travel which benefits the wildlife and communities you choose to visit. Specifically in these countries, the Trust has successfully funded an anti poaching dog for Zimbabwe's Save Valley and has raised enough funds to supply a new anti poaching dog squad for Rhino Conservation Botswana. Ngoma Safari Lodge also has a conservation programme and for every booking they donate to CECT a local community project.

Safari Itinerary

DAY 1-3

Chobe, Botswana
On arrival at Kasane you will be met and transferred the short distance to the private Forest Reserve, overlooking the Chobe River. You have three days to explore this wonderful landscape from Ngoma Safari Lodge. Chobe National Park is home to a diverse array of wildlife including more elephants than anywhere else in Africa, often seen in huge herds, particularly in the dry season. Being in a private concession you have the benefit of day and night drives, walking safaris and forays in the national park. A joint community and privately funded project developed with the Chobe Enclave Conservation Trust (CECT), Ngoma Safari Lodge is committed to making a sustainable difference to the local communities and their environment - many locals are employed at the lodge and the communities directly benefit, receiving an income from every bed night booked.

DAY 4-6

Victoria Falls
Today you will transfer by road over the border to Zimbabwe, to Victoria Falls. The lodge is located just four kilometres from the magnificent Falls. Victoria Falls Safari Club offers a personalised premium service. With a focus on exclusivity & modern design, this is a chance to experience Victoria Falls at its best. You have a couple of days to explore the Falls and the town itself which is a lively place with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. There is a wide range of optional excursions available: from sunset cruises on the Zambezi river to helicopter rides over the Falls for a birds-eye view.

DAY 7-9

Hwange National Park
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest safari park. The transfer time is approximately 6 hours. You will arrive at Somalisa in time for lunch. Following lunch there is a short rest before your afternoon game drive. Located on a private concession deep within the heart of Hwange National Park, Somalisa Camp, can offer some of the best game viewing opportunities within the park. Game Drives through the private concession, night drives, safari walks, and game viewing from the hide are all on offer to you, and should keep you more than occupied throughout the day. However, if you choose to relax in camp, you can take advantage of the comfort of the rooms or watch the game wandering through, to and from the waterhole.
