Classic Uganda

You will see gorillas, chimps, tropical jungle, extinct volcanoes, great scenery and a host of other flora and fauna on a private safari of this little visited yet stunning country. You will visit Kibale Forest to see the chimps, the Queen Elizabeth National Park for a safari, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see the gorillas and Lake Mburo National Park for another safari.

For example, the money from your gorilla trekking permit goes straight back into the national park and preserving the habitat as well as anti-poaching efforts and education programmes.

Safari Itinerary


On arrival in Entebbe International Airport you will be met and transferred to Boma Lodge for your first night in Uganda. Rest of day at leisure.


Kibale National Park
Today you will be driven to Kibale. With lush tropical rainforest and a fascinating diversity of animals, Kibale National Park is one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in Uganda, home to the endangered chimpanzee, as well as the threatened red colobus monkey and the rare L’hoest‘s monkey. The forest has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totalling 13 species

DAY 3-4

Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your trek to visit the chimps and a tour through the Crater lakes area, you head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The melting glacier waters of the Rwenzori Mountains create a vast wetland system comprising of two main lakes, George and Edward, as well as the connecting Kazinga Channel. Thousands of hippos populate these lake shorelines. Here you will go in search of wildlife, both in your own private vehicle and by boat on the Kazinga Channel.
