Kruger Safari & Mauritius (4*)

This wonderful holiday truly combines the best of both worlds with a safari in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve which borders the world-famous Kruger National Park, followed by a relaxing and fun-in-the-sun stay on the beautiful island of Mauritius, with its white sandy beaches and warm tropical waters.

The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is a conservation area that borders the ubiquitous Kruger National Park. In 1993, the fences between these two areas were removed to encourage the natural migration of each park’s species. This is part of what makes this region as ecologically rich as it is, a place of sanctuary for Africa’s Big 5: the leopard, lion, rhinoceros, elephant, buffalo, and more.

You will then head off to the Indian Ocean and spend 5 nights in a wonderful beach resort for some true rest and relaxation. Mauritius boasts some world class beaches with soft white sand and crystal clear, warm seas. If you can tear yourself off the beach there are plenty of things to do including scuba diving, dolphin spotting, island excursions and lots of watersports as you might expect.
