This wonderful holiday combines the best of both worlds with a safari in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve which borders the world-famous Kruger National Park, followed by a relaxing stay on the beautiful island of Mauritius, with its white sandy beaches and warm tropical waters.

The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is a conservation area that borders the Kruger National Park. In 1993, the fences between these two areas were removed to encourage the natural migration of wildlife. This region is ecologically rich and a place of sanctuary for many species including leopard, lion, rhinoceros, elephant and buffalo.

Following your safari you head off to the Indian Ocean and spend 5 nights in Mauritius.

Safari Itinerary

DAY 1-4

Timbavati Game Reserve, Greater Kruger
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Kambaku River Sands. Set along a picturesque riverbed, and nestled amongst towering leadwood and jackelberry trees, the ten luxury chalets weave their way along the Zebenneen River. This unfenced camp gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and wonders of the Kruger region from wonderful private viewing decks. During your stay here, enjoy morning and evening safaris led by expert game rangers. Expect sightings of some of the region’s most famous species as well as rarer wildlife such as white lions, African wild dogs, and shy aardvarks. Or, opt for a walking safari to experience the intimacy of the bush on foot.

DAY 5-9

Le Morne, Mauritius
On arrival at Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa has a superb location on the island's south-western tip. Situated on Le Morne peninsula, the resort is set against the backdrop of the iconic Morne Brabant Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
