A wonderful wild holiday designed for those seeking spectacular game viewing, as well as the chance to visit specific conservation projects in Laikipia with a stay at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino rhino sanctuary in East and Central Africa, and home to the world’s last two northern white rhinos in the world as well as many other rare species. As well as having the opportunity to visit the northern whites, and the chimpanzee sanctuary you may also wish to visit the anti-poaching unit for a real behind-the-scenes experience.
The specialist K9 unit includes Drum, a conservation arms and ammunition Spaniel who joined the unit thanks to funding by Explorers Against Extinction.
The sample itinerary below combines tented properties in the fabulous Kicheche Camps portfolio - one within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia, and one in the famous Mara North Conservancy.
*If you specifically wish to time your visit with the Great Wildebeest Migration - it is usually in the Masai Mara between around August and October.
Explorers Against Extinction works to raise awareness as well as funds for specific conservation projects all around the world. By enquiring and booking through this site you will be supporting conservation. On behalf of all confirmed clients, Explorers Against Extinction receives a donation to support their work at no extra cost to you.
