This wonderful holiday truly combines the best of both worlds with a safari in the malaria-free Madikwe Private Game Reserve followed by a week's stay on the beautiful island of Mauritius with its white sandy beaches and warm tropical waters.
Madikwe is a lesser known and therefore quieter game reserve in northern South Africa on the border with Botswana with an abundance of wildlife. The endangered African Wild Dog is thriving in Madikwe thanks to strenuous conservation efforts. You stay at the Bush House Lodge which is a small and intimate safari lodge with its own waterhole and in a great location for game viewing.
You will then head off to the Indian Ocean for 5 nights in a wonderful beach resort for some true rest and relaxation.
Explorers Against Extinction works to raise awareness as well as funds for specific conservation projects all around the world. On behalf of all confirmed clients, Explorers Against Extinction receives a donation to support their work at no extra cost to you.
