Located at Anse La Raie on the north coast of Mauritius, and only a 10 minute drive from Grand Baie, this newly-refurbished 67 room boutique hotel offers a contemporary exotic design. It is a haven of privacy for couples and honeymooners alike as no children or families are allowed.
Set in tropical gardens, surrounding a secluded 'private’ cove with panoramic views of the northern islands, Paradise Cove is sheltered all year from the main south-east trade winds. The peninsula side of the hotel boasts a fantastic infinity swimming pool overlooking the turquoise lagoon; together with the BLU restaurant, they offer a vibrant, trendy atmosphere by the sea.
Four types of spacious guest room offer high levels of comfort with new exotic, contemporary décor. All rooms except the lead-in Deluxe Rooms, have DVD players and ipod docking stations. Club Junior and Club Senior Suite guests have access to The Club Lounge and a range of complimentary extras throughout the day including exotic hot and iced teas, delicious salads and daily afternoon tea.
Paradise Cove now features a choice of four 'dine around' restaurants in exclusive settings: The Dining Room offers local & international cuisine as well as sumptuous buffet breakfasts; The Cove specialises in à la carte seafood options where guests dine in small pagodas built on stilts on the beach - perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner; XO offers à la carte Asian fusion cuisine; while BLU Restaurant & Bar on the peninsula offers local and international dishes, including à la carte lunches. In addition, S.T.A.Y Bar also provides lunch options as well as afternoon tea daily.
The peninsular gardens lead to delightful sandy 'love nests' (just big enough for two) each with easy access to the ocean. A beautiful spa, with its own pool, offers an extensive choice of 'Cinq Mondes' rituals and treatments, including Indian ayurvedic and Taoist Chinese massages, tropical aroma flower baths, hammam and facials.
The Paradise Cove Hotel also offers a fabulous choice of leisure and sports activities. As well as the two swimming pools, free activities include floodlit tennis courts, fitness centre, stand-up paddle boards, snorkelling, kayaks and even free water skiing for 2 hours every day! There's live music every evening, plus a Sega show once a week. Guests are also entitled to a full-day catamaran cruise at a reduced rate (payable locally). Parasailing, kitesurfing, big game fishing and speed boat trips can be paid for locally.
