DAY 1
Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide who will take you to one of Entebbe's oldest hotels, set in tropical gardens in a leafy suburb and just a 10 minute drive from Entebbe International Airport. Check-in on arrival and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2-3
Kibale Forest National Park
Depart Kampala for a scenic drive to the Kibale Forest. On your second day here you will head off in to forest with wildlife ranger guides, to track chimpanzees. Get in-depth knowledge about chimps, learning and observing their behaviour and how they live their daily life in their natural habitat.

DAY 4-5
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through the crater lakes region. Arrive at your lodge located in the heart of the park overlooking the Kazinga channel with great views of the sweeping plains of the park. On your second day your nature-filled adventure continues in a different way as you go off the beaten track, in search of lions. After lunch enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Perhaps take a 2-hour boat cruise on the majestic Kazinga Channel known for its high concentration of hippos. Look out for animals by the shores and many colourful birds. Undoubtedly one of the highlights of this park.

Ishasha Sector (Queen Elizabeth National Park)
Transfer to Ishasha famous for its tree-climbing lions.

DAY 8-9
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Take a morning game drive in search of large herds of grazers and tree-climbing lions which often sit in the fig trees when it gets hot. After lunch, continue through the lush green countryside to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (about 2 hours south). This park is home to the mountain gorillas, 113 mammal species and 360 bird species. Relax for the evening at your lodge. Bwindi’s jungle highlight is on your second day at the lodge. After your 0730 briefing from your wildlife guide, enjoy the jungle walk with your group tracking a gorilla family. When you locate your gorilla family, you are allowed one full hour in the company of these gentle giants – a truly humbling experience. Watch them as they go about their daily business in the forest. In the evening, you are free to relax.

A scenic 5-6 hour drive takes you through this beautiful and atmospheric part of the Ugandan countryside to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way to your lodge, keep your eyes open for wildlife including Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras and impalas. In the evening, if time allows, enjoy some great views at the Look-Out or opt for a boat ride to see the hippos, crocodiles and birds, including the African Fish Eagle, African Finfoot and perhaps the sought after Shining Blue Kingfisher.
