For those who want the once-in-a-lifetime experience of visiting mountain gorillas in their natural habitat but are pressed for time. You will head into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you have a permit to enter the national park on a trek to see one of the habituated mountain gorilla families.
Your gorilla trekking permit directly helps to conserve endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi. In addition you can choose to hire a porter during your trek ($15 USD) this is a great way to support the local community. Our charity partner, Explorers against Extinction, works with leading conservation organisations to raise awareness as well as raising funds for specific projects.
