For those who want the once-in-a-lifetime experience of visiting mountain gorillas in their natural habitat but are pressed for time. You will head into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you have a permit to enter the national park on a trek to see one of the habituated mountain gorilla families.

Safari Itinerary

DAY 1

Entebbe
You are met on arrival at Entebbe Airport and transferred to the lovely Boma Guest House. The rest of the day is at leisure

DAY 2-4

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
You will be taken to the airport for your flight to your next destination Mahogany Springs Lodge which is adjacent to Bwindi National Park. Optional tours include such things as a forest walk, village walk, or visit the Batwa Communities. On the day of your gorilla trek you will get to see the mountain gorillas of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south western Uganda, on the edge of the Great Rift Valley . After a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the dense bush to trek to see these endangered animals.

DAY 5

Depart
Fly back to Entebbe.
