Victoria Falls and Kafue Safari

This is a really well balanced holiday combining safari with a stay at a lovely riverside lodge near the Falls.

First you relax at a lovely lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River. During your stay a full day visit to Victoria Falls/Livingstone is included as well as a sunset cruise. From your camp you enjoy fabulous views of the Zambezi River, Chundu Island opposite and the Zambezi National Park.

You then head off for three nights on safari in Kafue National Park where you will get the chance to go on daily guided game drives to see the wonderful wildlife.

Covering an area the size of Wales Kafue National Park has an astonishing array of habitats and boasts the greatest variety of game in Zambia, with at least 160 species of mammal and over 500 species of birds. All the major predators are present, including particularly healthy populations of cheetah and wild dog, and antelopes (of which 21 species have been recorded in the park), such as roan and sable, hartebeest, reedbuck and oribi are seen regularly, along with elephant, zebra, warthog and numerous other smaller animals. You stay in a wonderfully remote camp in South Kafue where you really will have the place to yourselves!

The Real World Conservation Trust (formerly Real Africa Trust) works with leading conservation organisations to raise awareness as well as raising funds for specific projects. Partners include Save the Elephants, Save the Rhino, The Sheldrick Trust, Rhino Conservation Botswana and Animals saving Animals. You can find out more on our Conservation pages. On behalf of every client travelling, Real Africa makes a donation to the Trust. Our aim is to raise awareness about the plight of endangered species and to promote sustainable, socially responsible travel which benefits the wildlife and communities you choose to visit.
