This uniquely tailor-made tour offers you chance to see some of the national parks in Northern Vietnam and the conservation efforts to rescue the wildlife and maintain their natural habitats. You will also have chance to see some famous world natural heritage sites of Vietnam including the karst formations of Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay and their counterpart in Ninh Binh. An extension to Hue and Hoi An will give you time to visit two of the best preserved UNESCO listed World Cultural Heritage Sites of Vietnam and join the community based tour services in their countryside

Visits to Xuan Thuy National Park, the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre in Cuc Phuong National Park and Van Long Biological Reserve. These all contribute much needed tourism income which helps preserve and protect these important areas of wildlife and habitat.

Safari Itinerary

DAY 1 - 2

Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Subject to your arrival time, optional daily excursions are available at your tour guide’s recommendation. On Day 2 in the morning, you will visit Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature which is known as the first university of Vietnam with more than 1,000 years history. Continue the city tour to one of the following museums: History Museum,Revolutionary Museum, War Museum or Museum of Ethnology. After lunch at restaurant, the tour continues with a leisurely one-hour cyclo ride through Hanoi with visit to the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

DAY 3 - 4

Ninh Binh
Today you will visit Nam Dinh province in the Red River Delta, home to Xuan Thuy National Park, which was listed by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Heritage Site. After breakfast you will depart for Nam Dinh with an en route visit to Vi Khe bonsai village, one of the most famous craft villages in the Red River Delta. Continue driving to Xuan Thuy. Upon arrival, you will visit the National Park by boat with a visit to a Clam Farm and a seafood lunch. Nam Dinh is the enclave of the largest Christian community in Vietnam. Afterward, depart for the neighbour province of Ninh Binh. On your second day you will visit Cuc Phuong National Park. Established in1962 and is the oldest national park in Vietnam the National Park is covered in a dense forest and is the habitat of some of Asia's rarest species of animals and plants. You will first visit the Endangered Primate Recue Centre. Afterwards drive to the park centre to take a short trek through the National Park to the Thousand Year Old Tree. Afterwards, return to your hotel and take a sampan ride to visit Van Long. Van Long Nature Reserve with total 3000 ha area has been listed as the largest wetland reserve in the Northern Delta.


Bai Tu Long Bay
Today you will journey through the heart of the Red River Delta to Halong for a one-night cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay with an off the beaten track itinerary, far away from the crowds. You will get to visit an enchanting cave, go kayaking through a magnificent limestone islands. This trip takes you deep into natural wonder to experience a memorable experience and relaxing night on the majestic bay. Your junk will start cruising to the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay with countless number of small islets of different sizes and shapes. Lunch will be served on-board. By mid-afternoon, you will explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave. Swim or relax on a white sandy beach or go kayaking at Hon Co Island. Afterward return back to the boat for refreshing before having dinner.
